About

Nicole Stewart

Nicole Stewart has lived in Utah for most of her adult life where she began her career as a teacher, working with students with significant emotional and behavior challenges.  She fell in love with the work that led to kids learning to believe in themselves and to overcome the challenges they faced.  She went on to seek a Masters’ degree and then a Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Utah.  Nicole spent many years working in schools as a school psychologist, behavior specialist, alternative high school principal, and special education director, and enjoyed most working with and advocating for students who needed a different approach.  Since 2016, Nicole has worked privately, conducting psychological evaluations for children, teens, and young adults, many of whom reside in residential or wilderness treatment settings.  Nicole loves to ski, road bike, and run, and does what she can to squeeze in a good read most months!
